Dr. Petronela Pascariu

Petronela Pascariu (name linked to https://www.webofscience.com/wos/author/record/C- 5446-2014 ) received her PhD in Physics at Al. I. Cuza University Iasi Romania in September 2011. She dedicated her interest to research in the field of nanostructured materials synthesis and applications focusing on design, synthesis and investigation of nanoparticles, thin films and multilayers nanowires, metal oxide ceramic nanofibers based on ZnO and TiO 2 doped with Ni, Co, Ag, La, Er, Sm, Mo, etc composites, polymer/inorganic nanoparticles nanostructures, with specific optical, electrical, photocatalytic and magnetic properties for use in various modern applications (photocatalysis, sensors, electronics and optoelectronics, electrochemical supercapacitors, etc), obtained by electrochemical and electrospinning method, respectively. She works in materials science field and nanotechnology being author and coauthor of more than 60 journal articles (over 1100 citations in WoS) and book chapters in a broaden interdisciplinarity between materials science, physics, chemistry and electrochemistry, having a H-index 18 according to web of science.
